Winter Activities for Families

1. Singing Christmas Tree

It's like an orchestra with festive choir and show. It is showing in a church in Tacoma, with ticket starting from $5 per person. And it's one of the best shows I have ever seen. It's a must see show for Christians. It is showing on 12/8-14 (except 12/11)

And video of precious show FYI: https://youtu.be/lOiVzleXfzI

2. Bellevue Arts Museum

They have 'Get Crafty Saturday's' events for kids almost every Saturday from 1-3pm. They only charge material fee and sometimes it's free.

Furthermore, if you go on the first weekend of each month with Bank of America card, you get one free admissions to BAM. (https://about.bankofamerica.com/en-us/what-guides-us/arts-and-culture/partners.html#fbid=9LdcayLj3vY)

3. You can get free museum pass (including museum of flight and Seattle aquarium) here from the Seattle Public Library. Info is below:

4. For every Saturday from 11am-3pm, Lakeshore Learning Store in Bellevue offers free craft activities for kids. They have a different theme every week. http://m.lakeshorelearning.com/h5/sale

5. South Bellevue Community Center offers rock climbing sessions throughout the week, starting from 4 years old. Single climb is only $3 for Bellevue residents and $4 for non-resident. Their schedule can be found here:

6. Spanaway park Fantasy light event

Spanaway park in Pierce County offers the biggest drive through Christmas light event in the Northwest, running from 11/23-1/1/2018. It's around $14 per car (some dates have discount). So you don't need to stand in the cold but can admire the beautiful lights in your warm and safe vehicle. There is a very nice sushi restaurant called 'sushi niwa' nearby, which is our favorite place to go whenever we are in that area.
