At Shamrock Montessori, we believe that education is most meaningful when parents and educators walk hand in hand. Our Parent Education & Community Team (PECT) is a dedicated group of parent volunteers who partner with our school to support, enrich, and strengthen the home-school connection.
PECT plays a vital role in our school life—from organizing community events and supporting classroom needs, to fostering parent education and spiritual growth. United by a shared commitment to our mission of faith, hope, and love, this team helps build the welcoming, close-knit community that makes Shamrock feel like home.
Meet our PECT

Our New Parents Teatime is a warm and casual gathering designed to welcome new families into our Shamrock Montessori community. It’s a chance to meet other parents, connect with our team, ask questions, and share in the joy of this journey together.

School Field Trips – Hands-on Learning Adventures
Our thoughtfully planned field trips bring classroom learning to life. Whether exploring a farm, a science museum, or a botanical garden, children engage with the natural world and real-life environments. These experiences deepen their understanding of crops, insects, farm animals, and life cycles—while fostering curiosity in science, nature, and community life.

Thanksgiving Feast – Learning Gratitude and American Traditions
Our Thanksgiving celebration is more than a meal—it’s a meaningful time for children to learn the story and values behind this special holiday. Through songs, shared meals, and stories of kindness, children practice gratitude and experience the warmth of community, learning what it means to give thanks with a joyful heart.

Christmas Gingerbread House Night – Celebrating God’s Love
Families come together for a cozy evening of creativity and connection. As we build gingerbread houses, we reflect on the joy of home, the birth of Christ, and the beauty of sharing God’s love in tangible, sweet ways. It’s a time of laughter, togetherness, and faith-centered celebration.
School Events
At Shamrock Montessori, our school events are thoughtfully woven into the rhythm of the year to enrich each child’s learning journey and nurture a strong sense of belonging. More than just celebrations, these moments are living extensions of our curriculum—filled with wonder, beauty, and purpose.
From harvesting crops on a fall field trip to crafting dumplings for Chinese New Year, every event is designed to deepen children’s understanding of the world around them while engaging all five senses. They learn through doing, through sharing, and through joy.
Just as importantly, our events bring families and school together—creating space for connection, celebration, and shared values. Whether we’re gathering for a Thanksgiving feast, building gingerbread houses at Christmas, or enjoying a sunny picnic day, we do it as one school family—rooted in faith, growing in love.

Chinese New Year- Discovering Culture Through the Senses
Children immerse themselves in the richness of Chinese tradition—tasting dumplings, giving red envelopes, solving riddles, and trying their hand at calligraphy. This celebration nurtures cultural appreciation, language awareness, and sensory exploration, while highlighting virtues like respect, family, and renewal.

School Picnic Day – Joy in Nature and Community
Our annual picnic is a joyful day where families, teachers, and students connect in God’s creation. Through outdoor games, shared meals, and open-air fun, children experience the beauty of nature, build friendships, and celebrate the joy of being part of one school family.
