Yes. Our lead guides are Montessori-trained and certified, bringing both expertise and compassion to the classroom. Assistant teachers are also trained in Montessori principles to ensure a consistent experience for the children.

Student safety is our top priority. We have secure entry protocols, trained staff, and clearly defined emergency procedures. Classrooms are designed with visibility and supervision in mind, and we maintain low student-to-teacher ratios to ensure attentive care.

Ratios vary by age group, but we keep our class sizes intentionally small to provide focused attention and support. For example, our toddler classrooms have a 1:7 ratio with a floater teacher, while primary classes typically have a 1:10 ratio with a floater teacher. Unlike traditional models with a lead teacher and an assistant, both lead and language teachers in our classrooms actively guide and teach.

At Shamrock, formal homework is not assigned in the early years. Instead, we encourage families to support learning at home through reading, conversation, and everyday life skills. Our goal is to keep the child’s curiosity alive without adding pressure.
