Ms. Wenru brings a wealth of international Montessori experience to her role as a preschool lead teacher at Shamrock Montessori. With nearly 3 decades of dedication to Montessori education, she has served as a Montessori Coordinator for 15 schools, where she led curriculum development, coached head teachers, and supported heads of school in implementing high-quality Montessori practices. She is the founder of a respected Montessori professional training and consulting organization with branches in Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. Since 2007, she has trained adult learners through intensive Montessori courses in China, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Her expertise also includes designing Chinese language curriculum and materials aligned with Montessori principles. Ms. Wenru is known for her warm and eloquent communication with both parents and colleagues. Her passion lies in creating a peaceful, purposeful classroom where children feel loved, confident, and inspired to explore. As a lead teacher, she is committed to nurturing each child’s independence and joyful love of learning.

Ms. May is an early childhood and Montessori education professional with more than 40 years of experience in early childhood education and Montessori education. She holds AMS Montessori Teacher Certification for ages 0–3 and AMI Montessori Teacher Certification for ages 3–6. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to early childhood education and Montessori teaching, gaining extensive experience in both classroom teaching and educational management. Her professional experience spans Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. In addition to many years of working with young children and in Montessori education, she has participated in AMS Montessori teacher training, school teaching guidance, teacher professional development, and Chinese-language professional curriculum and research activities. Throughout her years in education, Ms. Hung has placed great importance on individual child development, respect for children, observing children, and fostering children's independence. She believes that every child has their own developmental pace and unique potential. She believes that one of the most important roles of a teacher is to carefully observe, respect, and appropriately guide each child, while preparing a safe, warm, orderly, and enriching environment filled with opportunities for exploration. At this stage of her career, she hopes to bring her many years of Montessori teaching and early childhood education experience to Shamrock Montessori School, where she looks forward to working with a professional educational team to provide children with high-quality, respectful, and child-centered education.

Ms. Shuang, a dedicated and adventurous educator, brings over seven years of international teaching experience to her role, having taught in the United States, China, and Africa. ​ An avid biker, Ms. Shuang has cycled through more than 50 countries on her own, fueling her passion for both education and global exploration. Her travels have allowed her to visit children in Africa, India, Nepal, and Europe, deepening her understanding of Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy that "education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being." ​ Ms. Shuang was drawn to join Shamrock Montessori due to its strong Christian foundation. ​ Driven by her independent spirit, curiosity, and love for lifelong learning, Ms. Shuang seeks to inspire these qualities in her students as well. She eagerly looks forward to discovering and learning alongside the children in her classroom while fostering a compassionate and faith-based educational environment.

Ms. Hortencia Garcia brings 12 years of experience in education, including Montessori classrooms, and four years of teaching Spanish to Shamrock Montessori. Born and raised in Colombia in a family of eleven siblings, she studied accounting and early childhood education there. Hortencia is a mother of three and grandmother of seven. She values a warm, patient approach and a structured environment where children feel safe, loved, and gently guided as they learn. She enjoys sharing her culture through language, music, and dance. Outside the classroom, Hortencia enjoys walking, dancing, cooking, and a good cup of coffee.

Ms. Gianina brings a warm, caring presence to Shamrock Montessori. Originally from Peru, she enjoys helping children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn, including introducing them to Spanish words along the way. Gianina values the school’s Christian foundation and the opportunity to nurture confidence, kindness, and independence. She finds joy in creating meaningful connections and encouraging children as they explore and grow. Outside the classroom, Gianina enjoys hiking, photography, exploring new places, and taking walks with her dog.

Ms. Sandy has been working with children for more than 24 years. She has been at Shamrock Montessori for 4 years. As a mom of three children and grandmother of two grandchildren, Ms. Sandy strives to provide her passion and experience in developing the potential and interests of each of the children. She loves children and loves to see them try new things, become independent, to have success, and to see their confidence building every day. She enjoys it when they want to teach her Chinese words.

Ms. Amy is a dedicated Montessori educator who graduated from the University of Washington. She has been working in Montessori classrooms for the past four years and completed her AMS (American Montessori Society) teacher training in June 2024. Ms. Amy finds deep joy in building meaningful connections with children and is continually inspired by their peaceful nature and natural curiosity. She delights in guiding young learners as they explore the world through the Montessori environment. She firmly believes in the Montessori philosophy of supporting children in discovering their potential and independence through gentle, respectful guidance. Her approach nurtures children’s confidence and encourages them to do their very best. Ms. Amy is passionate about fostering each child’s growth and helping them discover the beauty in both learning and life.

Ms. Joyce majored in pre-school education and earned a BA in the university. She has worked in education in China for six years. She was blessed with the opportunity to volunteer at a church preschool in Bellevue for two years since she came to Seattle. She also obtained her Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate. These experiences allow her better to understand the diverse educational and cultural backgrounds of children. ​ Ms. Joyce firmly believes in respecting each child's unique personality and supporting their growth through engaging in different activities. As an educator, she believes that every child is a natural learner. She is good at observing children and is passionate about exploring the world with children and fostering their curiosity and love for learning. ​ In her spare time, Ms. Joyce enjoys music, hiking, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. She is good at Chinese calligraphy.

Ms. Tandra was born in India and brings a warm, thoughtful presence to the Shamrock Montessori community. She lives in the United States with her husband and their three-year-old daughter, Athena. As a close-knit family, they value time together and enjoy quiet weekends at home filled with laughter, love, and shared meals—values that naturally extend into Ms. Tandra’s work with children. Ms. Tandra has over nine years of teaching experience. She worked as a lead middle school teacher in India for six years and has spent the past three years as a lead preschool teacher in the United States. Her teaching is grounded in patience, respect, and an understanding that each child develops at their own pace. She is fluent in Hindi and Bengali and values creating an inclusive, welcoming classroom for children and families from diverse backgrounds. Ms. Tandra also has a background in classical Indian dance, which has shaped her appreciation for movement, rhythm, and expression. These experiences support her ability to create a calm, engaging, and balanced learning environment—an approach that aligns well with Shamrock Montessori’s focus on nurturing the whole child. Teaching has been Ms. Tandra’s calling since childhood. She is deeply committed to continuous learning and professional growth and is passionate about supporting children as they build independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning. Ms. Wenting holds a Master's degree in Chinese International Education and brings over nine years of teaching experience to her role. Drawn to the Montessori philosophy for its emphasis on child-led learning, she discovered her passion for early childhood education. Her teaching journey is marked by dedication, creativity, and a deep commitment to fostering each child's unique development. ​ Ms. Wenting is inspired by the enthusiasm children bring to the classroom each day and their innate curiosity. She believes that the Montessori environment is ideal for nurturing both learning and growth, and her goal is to guide her students to become lifelong learners. ​ In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Ms. Maria Nicholson brings more than 10 years of experience working with young children to Shamrock Montessori. Born in the Philippines, she holds a degree in Communication Arts and is an AMS-certified Infant/Toddler Teacher. Maria is drawn to Montessori education for its holistic approach and deep respect for each child. She believes children flourish when they have time and space to discover, explore, and learn at their own pace. Through careful observation, respectful guidance, and a thoughtfully prepared environment, she supports each child’s developing independence. For Maria, teaching is also a journey of personal growth. She values responding thoughtfully and stepping back when a child is deeply engaged. Outside the classroom, she enjoys caring for her indoor plants, walking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Doo-Hee is a dedicated Montessori educator with over 30 years of teaching experience and a deep love for working with children. She began her career with a strong academic foundation in education and language studies, teaching middle and high school students before discovering her passion for early childhood education. After moving to Seattle, Ms. Doo-Hee completed her Montessori training through the Montessori Teacher Preparation (MTP) program and has since served as a lead teacher in both toddler and primary classrooms for over ten years. Through her work with young children, she experienced firsthand how nurturing, meaningful early learning environments can shape a child’s confidence, curiosity, and lifelong love of learning. Ms. Doo-Hee has continued to deepen her expertise through advanced studies in early childhood education and is currently completing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.). Her commitment to learning reflects the same values she brings into the classroom—growth, care, and thoughtful guidance. Known for her warm, attentive presence, Ms. Doo-Hee believes every child has unique and unlimited potential. She approaches teaching with patience, respect, and genuine care, building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families. Ms. Doo-Hee feels honored to be part of the Shamrock Montessori community and is passionate about supporting children as they begin their learning journey.

Ms. Soundarya brings over two years of early childhood education experience, including one year in a Montessori school, to her role as an Infant/Waddler Assistant Teacher at Shamrock Montessori. Originally from India, she has called Washington home for 14 years. Soundarya believes children thrive in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment filled with love, kindness, and curiosity. Through meaningful play and exploration, she supports growing confidence, independence, and each child’s social, emotional, and early learning development. She values trusting relationships with families and celebrating children’s milestones together. Outside the classroom, Soundarya enjoys cooking, music, dancing, and spending time with her husband and child.
