Toddler Montessori Environment

Toddler

18-36 Months

During the toddler years, children experience more rapid growth and development than at any other time in their lives. In our joyful and loving Montessori toddler classrooms, creativity, independence, and exploration are nurtured, transforming a child’s natural curiosity into a lifelong love of learning.

The toddler environment is carefully prepared to support key areas of development, including self-care, care of the environment, gross and fine motor skills, rich language acquisition, and social-emotional growth. Toddlers build independence and concentration through purposeful, engaging activities.

Social skills are developed as children interact with peers, practicing empathy, grace, and courtesy while learning to recognize and express their own feelings and needs.  All of this takes place in a nurturing environment enriched by Christian values and cultural diversity, where each child is supported in becoming a confident, compassionate, and capable individual.
